The transportation and storage of butterfly valves.
1. The butterfly valve needs to be fixed with appropriate slats during transportation to prevent external factors from damaging the valve and not allowing the valve to be exposed outdoors. When necessary, the desiccant needs to be used for anti-corrosion treatment of the butterfly valve.
2. The butterfly valve is transported to the place, and the butterfly valve should be stored in a dry, cool and ventilated environment before installation and use. At the same time, the butterfly valve should be covered to prevent dust, impurities and other contaminants.
3. The butterfly valve maintains the valve stem in a horizontal position during installation. This has the following advantages: (1)The valve can automatically remove some stains; (2)It allows the valve and stem to carry medium pressure evenly.
Butterfly valve maintenance
In the normal use of the butterfly valve, all parts of the valve shall be inspected and repaired every 3-4 months. If the working conditions are bad, the number of inspections of the valve shall be increased in the same cycle.
